LABCORE installation at IMB-CNM, CSIC in Barcelona
Expanding advanced laser micromachining capabilities for reverse engineering and microelectronics research through a flexible, compact, powerful and high-precision ultrafast laser processing platform.
Lasing Microsystems has recently installed a LABCORE laser micromachining platform at the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC).
This specific LABCORE configuration has been optimized for semiconductor and microelectronics research, with a particular focus on laser decapsulation and reverse engineering of integrated circuits, enabling precise and selective material removal to access and investigate internal chip structures.
The platform will complement the cutting-edge microelectronics facilities and expertise at IMB-CNM, providing a flexible tool for advanced research, process development and prototyping.
The installation included commissioning and hands-on training in close collaboration with the IMB-CNM team.
